Swedish power metal and dark metal band Zonata from Boras, Aweden was active from 1998 to 2003. The band comprised Johannes Nyberg (Vocals & Keyboards), John Nyberg (Guitar), Niclas Karlsson (Guitar), Mattias Asplund (Bass) and Mikael Hornqvist (Drums). In the late 1990s, they released their first demo record, Copenhagen Tapes, through their own label and it caught the attention of the managers from Century Music record label. After this deal, they began recording their debut studio album. Tunes Of Steel was released in 1999 and it contained the band's first singles such as "Geronimo", "Thor", "Beyond The Rainbow" and "Criticized". Two years later, they released their following album, Reality, which included the singles, "Reality", "Divided We Stand", "Illusion Of Madness" and "Hollow Rain".
