Zion I is an American duo. It was formed in 1997 in Oakland, California. Zion I's musical genre is hip-hop. The duo's members: Baba Zumbi (master of ceremonies) and AmpLive (music producer). Zion I released six albums and four EPs. The first duo's album was released in 2000. Its name is "Mind Over Matter". It was recorded by label "Ground Control Records". The track listing consists of 21 songs. The album spawned such singles like Inner Light, Revolution (B-Boy Anthem), Critical and One. The first EP was released in 1997. Its name is "Enter the Woods". This EP was released on cassette. The track listing consists of 4 songs such as "Mic Jonez", "Venus", "Déjà Vu", etc. In April and May 2010, the duo plans to hold a tour of America.
