American doom metal and stoner rock band Yob from Eugene, Oregon, was formed in 2000. The band comprises Mike Scheidt (vocals, guitar), Aaron Reiseberg (bass guitar) and Travis Foster (drums). Initially the band was organized by bassist Lowell Iles and drummer Greg Ocon. In 2000, they released their debut self-titled demo, which led the band to a deal with 12th Records label. Two years later, they released their first studio album, Elaborations of Carbon, which produced six tracks: "Universe Throb", "All the Children Forgotten", "Clear Seeing", "Revolution", "Pain of I" and "Asleep in Samsara". Now, you may download this album by Yob in mp3 from our site. At the same year, they signed to Abstract Sounds and began recording their following album. Catharsis was released in 2006 and it was heavily influenced by the elements of pop rock alternative rock sounds.
