Puerto Rican Grammy and Latin Grammy award-winning reggaeton and hip-hop duo Wisin & Yandel was formed in 1998. The duo comprises Llandel Veguilla Malavé Salazar (Yandel, born January 14, 1977) and Juan Luis Morera Luna (Wisin, born December 19, 1978). They started their career in 1995. They also have collaborated with many hip hop, pop and R&B artists such as David Bisbal, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Nelly Furtado,Luis Fonsi, Fat Joe,Ja Rule, Eve, R. Kelly, G-Unit, Akon, Enrique Iglesias, Aventura and 50 cent. In 2009, the band released their seventh and latest album, La Revolución, which spawned two hit singles, "Mujeres in the Club" and "Abusadora". The album became a major success in the United States and Latin America but even more in Caribbean country Puerto Rico where big sales went on.
