The Waifs are a folk rock band from Albany, Western Australia. The band was founded in 1992 by Josh Cunningham (guitar, vocals), and sisters Vikki Thorn (harmonica, guitar, vocals) and Donna Simpson (guitar, vocals). The current band’s line-up also includes Ben Franz — electric bass, double bass, dobro, David Ross MacDonald — drums, percussion, Mikel Azpiroz – keyboards, and Jen Anderson – violin. The group has released five studio albums, two live albums, one extended play and three singles. The band achieved its break in 2003 releasing their fourth album Up All Night. The album had become triple platinum in Australia. It was supported by singles "London Still" and "Lighthouse EP". The album debuted on the ARIA charts at number 3.
