Vanessa Lee Carlton, known as Vanessa Carlton is an American soft-rock, pop singer, songwriter and pianist. She was born on August 16, 1980 in Milford, Pennsylvania, United States. She showed an interest to Music since early age and her mother exposed her to various classic composer like Mozart, Eric Satie and Claude Debussy and began teaching her piano. At the same time her father listened to Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and this music also determined Vanessa’s music style. During her music career she released three studio albums and the debut one became the most successful.
