Van Morrison (George Ivan Morrison) was born on August 31, 1945 in Belfast Northern Ireland. He’s a Northern Irish musician and singer-songwriter who was fully acclaimed and recognized by the world music society. Van Morrison works in many genres like blues, folk, Celtic, rock & roll, jazz, R&B, soul. Some of his most well-known compositions are Brown Eyed Girl, Moondance, Domino and Wild Night. During his career he received six Grammy Awards, was inducted in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame and into the songwriters Hall of Fame. He’s the Officer of the British Empire.
