Ernest Joseph Anastasio III, known better as Trey Anastasio was born on September 30, 1964 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the United States. He is an American guitarist, composer and vocalist known mainly for his contribution for the band Phish. He has composed 152 original Phish songs and the Rolling Stone magazine ranked him number #73 on the list of 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. Phish split in 2004 and Anastasio still continues his solo career. He also took part in many different projects like Dave Matthews and Friends, Phil Lesh and Friends, 70 Volt Parade and some others.
