American country music singer and songwriter Travis Tritt was born on February 9, 1963, in Marietta, Georgia. He became interested in music from an early age. When he was 3 years old, he received his first guitar. As a schoolboy, he began to write music. He quickly gained popularity in the early 1990s with his debut breakthrough album, Country Club, which has been certified Platinum two times in the US and Gold in Canada. This album also spawned the hits, "Country Club", "I'm Gonna Be Somebody", "Help Me Hold On" and "Drift Off to Dream". The album's third single, "Help Me Hold On", reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts.
