American country music singer Trace Adkins (birth name Tracy Darrell Adkins) was born on January 13, 1962, in Springhill, Louisiana, USA. His musical interest came at an early age, when his father taught him to play the guitar. In high school, he joined a gospel music group called the New Commitments. He was also a member of Future Farmers of America (FFA). And now, he is one of the most success country music artists in the world. In addition, he has charted more than twenty singles on the Billboard country music charts. In 2005, he released his best-selling album, Songs About Me, which has been certified 2× Multi-Platinum by the RIAA.
