Tokio Hotel is a German pop rock and teen pop band coming from Magdeburg, Germany. The band was founded in 2001 by Tom Kaulitz (guitar), Bull Kaulitz (vocals), Gustav Schäfer (drums) and Georg Listing (bass). The band is considered to be one of the most successful German international acts in recent years. The band has released four studio albums. Their debut German language album Schrei was released in 2005. The band quickly gained the mainstream success in German speaking countries and beyond. The album was certified Platinum not only in Germany, but in Poland and in France too. The next album Zimmer 483 carried on their success and the band inspired by such popularity recorded the English-language version of this album “Scream”.
