American hip-hop singer-songwriter T.I. (birth name Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr.) was born on September 25, 1980, in Bankhead, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He is also actor and record producer. Upon signing with Arista Records subsidiary LaFace Records in 2001, he shortened his name to T.I. out of respect for label mate Q-Tip. He released his debut album, I'm Serious (2001), peaked at number 98 on the U.S. Billboard 200. In 2008, he released his sixth album, Paper Trail, which produced four singles, "Whatever You Like", "Swagga Like Us", "Live Your Life" and "Dead and Gone". Album's guests were B.o.B, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Ludacris and Swizz Beatz. Reviews for the album have been generally favorable.
