The Strokes are an American rock band formed in New York City in 1999. The band consists of Julian Casablancas, Nick Valensi, Albert Hammond, Jr., Nikolai Fraiture and Fabrizio Moretti. The band became quickly popular reviving garage rock movement. The first their release was a single The Modern Age which caused a war between record labels for producing The Strokes. Their debut album “Is This It” was released in 2001 and was critically acclaimed. NME named it the best album of the year and you can download it from our site in mp3. The Strokes toured a lot around the world and were staging for the Rolling Stones. The album “Is This It” is the most popular their work up to date. Next albums “Room on Fire” and “First Impressions Of Earth” got less attention. Their singles include such songs like Last Night, Reptilia, Juicebox, You Only Live Once. The band earned BRIT Awards and Meteor Music Awards.
