Biography: The Stooges, known also as Iggy and The Stooges are an American rock band formed in Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States in 1967. The band was active during several periods like between 1967 and 1974, the next period began in 2003 and the band has still been playing. The band members are Iggy Pop – leade vocals, Scott Asheton – drums, James Williamson – guitar, Mike Watt – bass. The band has released four studio albums - The Stooges (1969), Fun House (1970), Raw Power (1974) and The Weirdness (2007). None of the albums haven’t received any great commercial success. The highest chart position was number 44 in the UK for the album Raw Power.The band is knonw to perform for hostile and indifferent audiences.
