Stephanie Lynn Nicks known as Stevie Nicks was born on May 26, 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona, the United States. She is an American singer-songwriter singing mainly in the sub-rock genres like classical rock, soft rock, hard rock, pop rock and also pop. She is known first of all for her work with Fleetwood Mac and for her solo career as well. She rose to fame in her solo career right after the release of her debut solo album Bella Donna which was released in 1981. The album reached the top spot of the Billboard 200 and was certified 4 x Platinum. After such success the Rolling Stone magazine called her “The Reigning Queen of Rock and Roll”.
