Stereophonics are the Welsh rock band formed in Cwmaman, Wales, the UK in 1992. The band consists of Kelly Jones, Richard Jones, Javier Weyler and Adam Zindani. The group rose to fame with their debut album Word Gets Around. The album peaked at #6 UK album chart and spawned six singles. The band earned BRIT Award in the nomination Best New Group and went on a successful world tour. All their next five albums reached the top spot of the UK chart and the group has become to be described as a classic UK rock with a “whiskey vocal”. The band’s most popular singles are Dakota, Madame Helga, Maybe Tomorrow, Mama told Me not to Come, The Bartender and the Thief, and many others.
