| Biography: |
American stand-up comedian and country singer-songwriter Stephen Lynch was born on July 28, 1971, in Abington, Pennsylvania, U.S. Considering himself a musician first and a comedian second, he cites singer-songwriters Paul Simon and Joni Mitchell as his childhood inspirations, rather than comics. He was inspired to go into show business after seeing the mockumentary This is Spinal Tap. The first song that he wrote was a country song titled "Beefy Burrito". In 1996, he moved to New York City with the intention of becoming an actor. He soon found great success in comedy clubs and other venues around the city (notably Catch a Rising Star and Caroline's), and became a regular on radio shows such as Opie and Anthony. In 2000, he released his breakthrough debut album, A Little Bit Special, which produced the singles, "Tall Glass O' Water", "Walken II", "In Defense of a Peepshow Girl" and "Jim Henson's Dead". And now, you may download Stephen Lynch's debut album, A Little Bit Special, in mp3 from our site.
