Slayer is an American trash metal band from Huntington Park, California, US formed in 1981. The band consists of Tom Araya, Jeff Hanneman, Kerry King, Dave Lombardo. They are one of the most popular bands nowadays and considered to be the part of the great 4 trash metal bands including Metallica, Anthrax and Megadeath. The group is often criticized due to the lyrics devoted to Nazism, Satanism, death, serial killers and suicide.
