Biography: Skid Row is an American heavy metal band, formed in Toms River, New Jersey, the United States in 1986. The current band’s line up consists of Johnny Solinger (vocals), Dave "The Snake" Sabo (guitar), Scotti Hill (guitar), Rachel Bolan (bass) and Dave Gara (drums). The band rose to fame very quickly, right after the release of their debut self-titled album Skid Row, which was issued in 1989. The album peaked at number 6 on the Billboard chart and was certified 5 x Multi-Platinum. It spawned two hit singles Youth Gove Wild and 18 and Life. The last one became gold. Their next album continued the band’s success and the album Slave to the Grind was certified 2 x Multi-Platinum.
