American indie rock and dream pop band Silversun Pickups from Los Angeles, California, was formed in 2000. The band consists of Brian Aubert (lead vocals, guitar), Nikki Monninger (bass, vocals), Christopher Guanlao (drums) and Joe Lester (keyboards). The band members are friends who had played together previously or in mutual friends' bands. They were originally called A Couple Of Couples. Their current name comes from a liquor and convenience store across from the Silverlake Lounge and near their house at Sunset and Silverlake Blvds in Los Angeles. In 2006, the band released their debut album, Carnavas, which produced four singles, "Future Foe Scenarios", "Well Thought Out Twinkles", "Lazy Eye" and "Little Lover's So Polite". And now, you may download this album by Silversun Pickups in mp3 from our site. In 2007, the band also played at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California .
