Biography: Japanese black metal, symphonic black metal, avant-garde metal and progressive metal band Sigh from Tokyo, Japan, was formed in 1989. The band comprises Mirai Kawashima (vocals, keyboards), Shinichi Ishikawa (guitar), Satoshi Fujinami (guitar, drums, bass), Junichi Harashima (drums) and Dr. Mikannibal (saxophone, vocals). The group is considered as one of the first Japanese black metal bands. In length of time, they moved from a traditional black and thrash metal sound to an experimental and avant-garde style. In 1993, the band was signed with Deathlike Silence Records. At the same time, they released their debut album, Scorn Defeat, which yielded three singles, "Ready for the Final War", "Weakness Within" and "Taste Defeat".
