Saving Abel is an American rock band formed in Corinth, Mississippi in 2004. The current band members are Jared Weeks – lead vocals, Jason Null – lead guitar, backing vocals, Scott Bartlett – rhythm guitar, backing vocals, Eric Taylor – bass guitar and Blake Dixon- drums. The band’s name comes from the Bible story about Cain and Abel. The band performs hard rock, post-grunge, and southern rock. During their career, they have released two studio albums – Saving Abel (2008) and Miss America (2010). The band is signed to Virgin Records. The band’s hit single Addicted was released in 2008. It was certified Platinum in the US and the debut album received Gold certificate. The album Miss America topped US Hard rock albums chart.
