Saves the Day is an American Emo band from Princeton, New Jersey, United States formed in 1994. The band’s line-up consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Chris Conley, guitarist Arun Bali, bassist Manuel Carrero and drummer Durijah Lang. Originally the band was formed as Sefler and they performed under this name till 1997 when the band changed the name for Saves the Day. Chris Conley is the only member from the original line-up. The band’s commercial breakthrough happened in 2001 when they released their third album Stay What You Are. The album spawned their major hit “At Your Funeral” and the band made the video for this song. The albums peaked at number 100 on Billboard 200 and sold about 200,000 copies.
