English soul, jazz and soft rock band Sade from London was formed in 1983. The band comprises Sade Adu, Stuart Matthewman, Paul Spencer Denman and Andrew Hale. The lead vocalist, Sade Adu, is the only woman in the band and is the only one to appear on their album and single covers. They achieved mainstream success with their breakthrough album, Promise (1985), which peaked at number 1 in the UK and has been certified double Platinum by the BPI. It also spawned several singles such as "Never as Good as the First Time", and "The Sweetest Taboo". And now, you may download this album by Sade in mp3 from our site. In 1986, Sade Adu was nominated for an American Music Awards for Favorite Soul/R&B Female Video Artist and won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
