French rapper Rohff (birth name Housni Mkouboi) was born on December 15, 1977, in Vitry-sur-Seine, in Val-de-Marne, Paris. His name stands as "Rimeur Original Hardcore Flow Fluide". He is heavily influenced by the music of 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., NWA and The Game among others. In the mid-1990, he started rapping. During that time, he was noticed by Neg'Marrons, Mystik, and Pit Baccardi, with whom later, he started to collaborate. In the late 1990s, he joined to Mafia K'1 Fry band, which comprised, among others, Kery James. At the same time, he began writing lyrics. He achieved mainstream success as a solo artist in 2001 with his breakthrough album, La Vie Avant La Mort, which yielded several singles such as "Introhff", "R.O.H.F.F.", "TDS", "Sensation Brave", "Miroir, Miroir" and "Rap Info".
