American country music band Rascal Flatts from Columbus, Ohio, was formed in 1999. The band comprises Gary LeVox (lead vocals), Jay DeMarcus (bass guitar, keyboards, vocals), and Joe Don Rooney (lead guitar, vocals). The band is known primarily for its pleasing harmony and Grammy-winning songcraft. In 2004, the band released their third and commercially successful album, Feels Like Today, which produced four singles, "Feels Like Today", "Fast Cars and Freedom", "Skin (Sarabeth)" and Grammy Award-winning song, "Bless the Broken Road". The album has been certified 5× Multi-Platinum by the RIAA. The lead single, "Feels Like Today", peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart in 2004.
