Rainbow were an English hard rock band formed in 1975 by – Ritchie Blackmore (ex-Deep Purple). The group was joined by Ronnie James Dio, Mickey Lee Soule, Craig Gruber, and Gary Driscoll. During the years the group was changing its line-up very often. The first commercial success came to them after the singles All Night Long and Since You Been Gone were released. In 1980 they headlined the Monsters of Rock festival in England. Other their hits are I surrender, Stone Gold and Street of Dreams. You can download these Rainbow songs in mp3 from our site. The band broke up in 1984 and reunited in 1993 with the new line-up but disbanded finally in 1997. Rainbow is famous for their electric arrangement of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony which was included in their album Difficult to Cure. The last successful album of the band is Stranger In Us All.
