R. Kelly (bith name Robert Sylvester Kell) is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter and record producer. He was born on January 8, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois. Debuting in 1992 with the R&B and hip hop band Public Announcement, R. Kelly went solo in 1993 for a successful solo career starting with the multi-platinum album, 12 Play, which you may download in mp3 from our site. It spawned the number-one hit singles "Bump n' Grind". His success continued with the release of his self-titled next album, R. Kelly, popular for the singles "You Remind Me of Something", "I Can't Sleep (Baby If I)", and "Down Low", a duet with Ronald Isley. The album sold four million copies, thus receiving 4× multi-platinum certification from the RIAA. He has also produced and performed in many tracks by other R&B and hip-hop artists such as The Notorious B.I.G., Fat Joe, Young Jeezy, Aaliyah and Jay-Z.
