Powerman 5000, sometimes abbreviated PM5K is an American rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1991. The band was founded by Spider One who is the younger brother of Rob Zombie. The current band’s line-up composes of Spider One – lead vocals, Evan9 – rhythm guitars, Velkro – lead guitars, X51 – bass and GFlash – drums, percussion. During its career, the band has released seven studio albums. The peak of their popularity and breakthrough to the main success was in 1999 when they released the album Tonight the Stars Revolt! The album peaked ay number 29 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum. This is the best-selling album to date.
