Power Station was an American supergroup formed in New York City, New York, the United States in 1984. The band composed of Robert palmer (vocals), John Taylor (bass), Andy Taylor (guitar) and Tony Thomson (drums). Andy Taylor was from Duran Duran and Tony Thomson was from Chic. The band was signed to Capitol Records. The band released only two albums during their career. They split quickly and the first period of their existence was quite short. The reunion happened in 1996 but next year they finally split. The debut album Power Station was released in 1985. The album reached number 6 on the Billboard 200. It spawned three hit singles – Some Like it Hot, Get It On (Bang a Gang) and Communication. You can download this album by Power Station in mp3 from our site.
