Perfume is a Japanese technopop group from Hiroshima, Japan. The band consists of Ayano Ōmoto, Yuka Kashino and Ayaka Nishiwaki. They began their career in 2001 and since then they produced nine hit singles which made them one of the major acts on the Japanese scene. They were named as “the biggest influence on the Japanese music industry in 2008". The first their hit single was "Polyrhythm" and it reached #4 at Oricon charts. The Next one and more successful was Baby Cruising Love/MacaronI, reaching #3. Their album Game debuted as #1 and yielded such hits like Love the World which debuted as #1 as well becoming the first techno single which could do this.
