Paul Frederic Simon is an American singer-songwriter. He was born on October 13, 1941, Newark, New Jersey, U.S. He began his career performing in duo with Art Garfunkel. In 1965 their duet became famous with such songs as The Sound of Silence, The Boxer, Mrs. Robinson, and Bridge Over Troubled Water. In 1970 the duo split and Simon began a successful solo career. In 1975 Paul Simon got the Grammy award for Album of the year for his record Still Crazy After All These Years, which you can download in mp3 from our site. The hit singles from that album were 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, Gone at Last (ft. Phoebe Snow), My Little Town (reunion with Garfunkel). The massive popularity came to him with a release of his album Graceland which promoted African music and made it a mainstream. In 2002 he was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Simon is one of the few artists who have a copyright over theirs name.
