Biography: Scottish progressive rock, hard rock and metal band Pallas was formed in 1980 under the name “Rainbow”. This group was created by Richie Blackmore from Deep Purple. Initially, this act performed music, which was heavily influenced by pop and new wave sounds. In the beginning, they played at local clubs and bars. They quickly gained popularity in the middle 1980s with their debut release which entitled “The Sentinel”. This record reached number 41 in the UK. The album’s singles were "Rise and Fall. part 1", "Eastwest", "March on Atlantis" and "Rise and Fall, part 2". The Sentinel generally received positive critical acclaim. Now, you may download in mp3 from our site. The band continued their success with their follow-up record, The Wedge, which peaked at number 70 in the UK. For the next several years, they released two albums entitled “Knight Moves to Wedge” and “Beat the Drum”, but they both did not get any positive attention from critics and also from fans. The band improved situate with their fourth album, The Cross & the Crucible (2001), which was heavily influenced by neo-progressive music sounds. The album’s singles were "For the Greater Glory", "Who's to Blame?", "The Blinding Darkness" and "Towers of Babble".
