Biography: Orthodox Celts are a Serbian Irish folk and and Celtic Rock band formed in Belgrade, Serbia in 1992. Despite their unusual sound, the band is one of the most pospular acts on the Serbian rock scene, popularizing Celtic music. Their music raised the interest to the Celtic culture in general. The band began its career from performing traditional Irish songs and soon they began creating their own material. All the band’s songs are in English, they also have made several instrumental compositions. The band composes of quite many members - Aleksandar Petrović, Ivan Brusić, Vladan Jovković, Dejan Lalić, Dejan Popin, Dušan Živanović and of Milena Simijonović. The band was founded by Dušan Živanović (accordion), Ana Đokić (violin) and Dejan Lalić (mandolin, banjo, tin whistles) The band has released five studio albums.
