English indie folk music band Noah and the Whale from Twickenham, London, was formed in 2006. The band's current line-up comprises Charlie Fink, Tom Hobden, Matt "Urby Whale" Owens, Fred Abbott and Jack Hamson. They are well known for their collaborations with various folk music bands such as Neutral Milk Hotel, Bonnie Prince Billy and Belle & Sebastian among others. They quickly gained popularity in 2007 with their breakthrough debut album, Peaceful, the World Lays Me Down, which yielded several hit singles including "5 Years Time", "2 Bodies 1 Heart", "Shape of My Heart", "5 Years Time Re-Release" and "Shape of My Heart" (re-release).
