Necrophagist is a German technical death metal and progressive metal band coming from Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The band was founded in 1991 by Turkish-German guitarist and vocalist Muhammed Suiçmez. The current band members are Muhammed Suiçmez – vocals, guitar, Sami Raatikainen – guitar, Stephan Fimmers – bass guitar and Romain Goulon – drums. The band has released only two albums. The debut album Onset of Putrefaction came out in 1999. The debut album was solely written and recorded by band leader Muhammed Suiçmez with little help of two other musicians. The album was released through Willowtip Records to critical acclaim. Allmusic gave it 5 points. The band’s second album Epitaph came out in 2004. You can download these albums by Necrophagist in mp3 from our site. The band shared the stage with such acts like Behemoth, Dying Fetus and Beneath the Massacre and others.
