Ron Raphael Braunstein, better known as Necro, was born on June 7, 1976 in Brooklyn, New York, the United States. He’s an American rapper, record producer, business owner, actor and director. Necro is considered to be the inventor of death-rap. He invented this term in order to describe his style as other labels created by the media didn’t fit him according to him. The genres combines death-metal beats with rap about violence, death, occult or sex. Many of Necro’s lyrics can be easily used in death or thrash metal that’s why some metal fans appreciate this kind of rap. At the age of 12 Necro played in a metal band and opened for Sepultura, Biohazard and Obituary. During his rap career he has released 5 studio albums and the last one is titled Death Rap.
