Mylene Farmer (full name Mylène Jeanne Gautier) is a French pop singer, born on 12 September 1961; Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She is the most successful artist of all time in France, having sold about 45 million copies around the world. She is popular not only in France but abroad too. Many countries have strong fan clubs including Belgium, Switzerland and Russia. She began her career in 1984, meeting Laurent Boutonnat. Together they wrote and produced many songs later. The best Mylene’s singles include Libertine, Tristana, Sans contrefaçon, Désenchantée, Regrets (with Jean-Louis Murat), XXL, California, Fuck Them All, L'Amour n'est rien.., Slipping Away (Crier la vie) (with Moby), C'est dans l'air.
