Steven Patrick Morrissey was born on 22 May 1959 in Davyhulme, Lancashire, England and he’s known primarily as Morrissey. He is a British singer-songwriter and became popular being a member of the alternative rock band The Smiths. The group disbanded in 1987 and he decided to begin a solo career. Already in 1988 (6 months after The Smiths split) he released his first solo album Viva Hate which reached the top spot of the UK albums chart. Since then he released eight more albums including the Years of Refusal issued in 2009. You can download if from our site in mp3. Morrissey’s major hit singles are Suedehead, "Interlude" (with Siouxsie Sioux), You have Killed Me, The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get and many others. He collaborated with various acts like Siouxsie Sioux, The Noisebleeds, Slaughter & the Dogs.
