English progressive rock, psychedelic rock, symphonic rock and synthpop band The Moody Blues originally from Erdington, was formed in 1964. The band comprises Justin Hayward, John Lodge and Graeme Edge. Originally the band was formed by two members Michael Pinder and Ray Thomas. In 1994, they performed in Birmingham along with Graeme Edge and others. And later in Birmingham, they recruited John Lodge and Justin Hayward. During that time, all of them were inspired by the progressive rock style. The band is well known for its innovation: fusion with classical music. This innovation was most notable in Days of Future Passed. This album spawned two singles "Nights in White Satin" and "Tuesday Afternoon". It became one of their most successful albums.
