Michael Jackson (full name Michael Joseph Jackson) born August 29, 1958 Gary, Indiana, died June 25, 2009, Los Angeles, California. He is a king of pop. The most successful singer in the world's history. He entered the Guinness World Record for eight times, won 13 Grammy Awards and 26 Billboard Awards, twice put in the Rock and Roll Hall Fame. In total he sold about 750 000 000 copies around the world, no one else could repeat such an achievement. He began his career in 1967 in the group The Jackson 5 together with his brothers, but later in 1971 made a solo record "Off the Wall" which became the first step to the world fame.
