MGMT is an American music duo formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2002. The duo composes of Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser. They began playing together while were in the University. At first they experimented with noise rock and electronic and then came to their current sound which is can be described as psychedelic pop. In 2006 the duo signed Columbia Records and they were noticed on BBC, in Rolling Stone and were named the most played band on Last.fm. You can download in mp3 MGMT’s debut album Oracular Spectacular from our site. It started at #12 on the UK album chart and topped the Billboard Heatseekers. NME called this album the best in 2008. The last duo’s album is called Congratulations and it has been recently released. MGMT is known for a legal dispute with the French President Nicolas Sarkozy. His party UMP used their song but didn’t pay for this.
