Megadeth is an American heavy metal band coming from Los Angeles, California, the United States and formed in 1983. The current band members are Dave Mustaine (lead vocals, guitar), Chris Broderick (guitar, backing vocals), Shawn Drover (drums, percussion) and James LoMenzo (bass guitar, backing vocals). The band was founded by Dave Mustaine after he had left Metallica. During its career, the band underwent disbanding in 2002 due to Mustaine’s injury and in two years, the band reunited after the successful recovering of the band’s leader. The band has released 12 studio albums. The most successful one is their 1992 album Countdown to Extinction.
