Matthew Stephen Ward, known as M. Ward is an American indie folk singer-songwriter born on October 4, 1973 in Newbury Park, California, the United States. He began his solo career in 1999 releasing the debut album Duet for Guitars #2. He continued with End of Amnesia in 2001. In total, he has released seven studio albums including one live album. The last album Hold Time came out in 2009. You can download this album by M. Ward in mp3 from our site. The album received positive critic reviews and was highly ranked by such media like Allmusic, Drowned in Sound, PopMatters and others. The album features guest appearances of Lucinda Williams, Jason Lytle, Zooey Deschanel and others. Ward and Deschanel formed a band named She & Him. In addition, Ward has one more side-project called Monsters of Folk founded with Oberst (of Bright Eyes).
