American alternative rock, indie rock and pop rock singer-songwriter and guitarist Liz Phair (birht name Elizabeth Clark "Liz" Phair) was born on April 17, 1967. Her involvement into the music started when she met guitarist Chris Brokaw, who was a member of the band Come. They moved to San Francisco together. But she did not achieve there any success. After return to Chicago, she began writing songs. During this time she was recording homemade tapes under the name Girly Sound. Later, she became friends with Material Issue and Urge Overkill as well as Brad Wood and John Henderson, who was a head of Feel Good All Over (an independent label). In 1993, she released her debut album, Exile in Guyville, which yielded the singles, "6'1", "Never Said" and "Flower". And now, you may download this album by Liz Phair in mp3 from our site.
