Lil' Flip, birth name Wesley Eric Weston, Jr. was born on March 3, 1981 in Cloverland, Houston, Texas, the United States. He’s a southern rapper and the first one from the south who gained the national wide recognition. During his career he has released four studio albums and the breakthrough to the mainstream success happened with a release of his second album Underground Legend (2002). It reached number 2 on the U.S. R & B chart and spawned a hit single The Way We Ball. The album was certified Platinum by RIAA.
