LCD Soundsystem is a musical project of James Murphy, American producer and co-founder of the label DFA Records that specializes on dance-punk music. The project was formed in 2002 in New York City. The current line-up composes of James Murphy – vocals, instruments and live musicians Nancy Whang – keyboards synthesizer, Pat Mahoney – drums, Al Doyle – guitar, percussion, and Phil Skarich – bass. The debut self-titled album was released in 2005. The album contains of two discs. It received extremely positive reviews from the critics, especially from Allmusic, Alternative Press, Q, PopMatters, The Observer and others. The album was nominated for Grammy Awards for Best Electronic/Dance Album. You can download this album by LCD Soundsystem in mp3 from our site.
