Laura Beatrice Marling, better known as Laura Marling is a British folk-pop singer-songwriter born on February 1, 1990 in Hampshire, England. She was interested in music since her childhood and learnt how to play guitar at the age of 5. When she grew up, she played in several bands like Noah and the Whale. She collaborated with The Rakes and Mystery Jets and decided to pursue a solo career. The debut album Alas, I Cannot Swim was released in 2008. The album earned her Mercury prize nomination. The next heк musical effort titled I Speak because I Can came out in 2010. The album did much better in the charts than the previous one and reached number 4 on the UK Albums chart. It spawned two singles "Goodbye England (Covered in Snow) and "Devil's Spoke". You can download this album by Laura Marling in mp3 from our site.
