American alternative rock, electronic rock, post-punk and new romantic band Kill Hannah from Chicago, Illinois, was formed in 1993. The band comprises Mat Devine (Vocals), Dan Wiese (Guitar, Backing Vocals), Greg Corner (Bass), Elias Mallin (Drums) and Gil Baram (Live Guitar). Originally the band was formed by Mat Devine, and the band was named after Mat Devine's ex-girlfriend. He began his music career as a singer and guitarist of In a Jar UK band. Later, he left this band and quickly founded Kill Hannah. They achieved mainstream success with their breakthrough album, American Jet Set, which produced several singles such as "Don't Die Wondering", "Sick Boy", "Hyperactive", "Get Famous", "Los Angeles" and "A New Medicine".
