Juan Luis Guerra-Seijas is a Dominican singer, songwriter and self-producer born on June 7, 1957 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He reached a considerable commercial success selling more then 20 million copies world wide. In addition, he was recognized by the music industry society not only in the Latin world but outside as well. He won two Grammy Awards and nine Latin Grammy Awards and two Latin Billboard Music Awards. He is one of the most popular Dominican artists singing Latin pop music, which is associated with bachata, bolero, meringue and Afro-pop/Latin fusion. Some of his songs can be classified as rock and roll, salsa and gospel. Many of his singles became popular including Ojala Que Llueva Café, Mi PC, La Llave De Mi Corazón and others.
